This little trick is one we learned back in the 90s. It works really well to increase blood flow to the nails for stronger and healthier nails and cuticles, and it only takes a minute!
Keep a little hand cream or nail oil (any natural oil will do, really) on your nightstand and before you tuck into bed, apply a little to each nail. Then make a heart shape with your hands so the nails are touching and rub the nails together in small circles, getting the thumbs in there too. You can do this anytime, but we find that making it a bedtime routine means we rarely forget.
