Today we're going to decode something for you. Something that's been right under your nose for years. Maybe you've sorted it out already. We thought we'd point it out just in case.
The Period After Opening (PAO) symbol is that little symbol on the back of your cosmetic jars, or found on the box somewhere. It tells you how long the product is good for once you've opened it. So the 12M or 6M inside the little open container means you've got 12 months or 6 months to use it up before you should toss it. Now you know!
Also - may we suggest in the spirit of spring cleaning that you check your beauty stash today and anything you know you've had around longer than the PAO on the bottle suggests goes in the bin?
