This beauty tip is one we learned a few years ago and use it so often that we take it for granted. It's a real 'aha-ha' beauty tip.
Blowdrying hair can be a real pain sometimes, especially when the end effect leaves hair a little too fluffy and frizzy. For most of our lives we had no idea what the attachment above (it often comes with a blow dryer) was for. It's called a concentrator nozzle and it's meant for concentrating the air where you want it. Now we know – and we love it.
It works best for blowdrying hair straight, but is also useful for spot drying. Simply attach the concentrator nozzle and use it to direct the air down the hair shaft while brushing. It works for two reasons, one the air flow is directed down the hair shaft making flyaways and frizz go poof. Second, it directs the heat to the area you're working on drying so that hair isn't flying around everywhere as you attempt to gain control with a brush. It'll even help to make hair look shinier and be less tangled. This tip can save so much time and give you as close as you'll get to a professional blow-dry. (Except for the part where someone else does all the work and you get to sit in a chair and read a magazine).
